Good writing is more than just marketing--it’s about telling a story, inviting people to understand who you are and what you do, and sharing your vision with others. It helps build connections, sell products, and build communities.
That’s where I come in.

I work with a variety of people and types of organizations on projects. That includes universities, small businesses, freelancers, artists, and nonprofits. In most cases, they have clear goals and excellent projects, but are either uncertain how to tell their stories or are too overwhelmed by doing the actual work to bother with writing things down.
Often I work in one of two phases:
- Developing (or improving) the ‘permanent’ website content
- Writing for a blog or other updating content
In both cases, I can help you tell your story in your voice. For example, we can get on the phone and have a half-hour conversation that I can turn into two blog posts for you to share. I’ll ask questions to guide the story, and the stories and insights that come up through your enthusiasm for your projects will be translated into clear, enjoyable anecdotes for your audience.
Sometimes we’re too close to our projects to really articulate them in writing. We know all the ins and outs, and all the complex emotions behind every aspect of our projects. That makes it hard to create engaging, inviting narratives for an external audience. That’s how I can help.
This kind of content is good for search engine optimization, good for social media, and good for celebrating successes or partnerships.
Working with me means that you have less to worry about. Your website can reflect the quality of what you actually do without taking energy away from the work you love.
The price will depend on the project. We’ll talk through what you need and decide on a fee that will work for us both depending on the nature and complexity of the writing, and the amount of time required to get you exactly what you need.
